Clinical and sports massage therapy

I use an outcome-orientated approach that uses a combination of hands on bodywork techniques. This could include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, acupressure, myofascial release, medical acupuncture and sports stretching alongside functional exercises and education to help facilitate a client’s own healing process.

Whether the aim is to reduce or eliminate musculoskeletal pain, increase range of motion or promote the positive psychological effects of touch, I can work with the client to create an effective treatment plan towards progression and improvement.  My treatments are there to help restoration of bodies to the point where a client feels ready to restart their exercise programmes again or to go about their lives free from pain.

This type treatment can be used to help many things including repetitive strain and sports injuries, back pain, sciatica, migraine and sleeping problems.

Pregnancy and post natal massage

I also offer pregnancy, post natal and caesarean section scar management massage.

I work either from the therapy room in my home or the clinics listed below.

I focus on building strength and fitness to increase mobility so that you can get the best out of your physical life.  I train either in the comfort of your own home or out and about in one of the lovely parks available in the local area. Increase in fitness and strength can be rewarding, empowering and can make a real difference to how you live your everyday life.
